Are you someone who thrives on problem-solving, adapting, and coordinating? Do you want to work in a dynamic transportation environment where no two days are the same? Then we have an exciting challenge for you. For our France division, we’re looking for an LTL Import Planner who, together with the team, will ensure optimal planning of groupage shipments to and from France. You’ll have a lot of responsibility, maintain daily contact with customers and carriers, and play a key role in further expanding our services.
What you will do
- You will be responsible for the daily planning and coordination of LTL shipments to and from France and will ensure optimal utilization of transport capacity.
- You monitor ongoing shipments, identify deviations, and take proactive measures to ensure delivery commitments are met.
- You’ll maintain daily contact with customers, carriers, and drivers and serve as the central point of contact within the transportation process.
- You’ll request rates, prepare quotes, and contribute commercially to transport solutions and opportunities for existing and new customers.
- You’ll build lasting relationships with customers and logistics partners and regularly visit customers and carriers to further strengthen the partnership.
What to bring
- You have an interest in transportation, logistics, or the supply chain and feel at home in a dynamic international environment.
- You have a good command of both spoken and written Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a major plus.
- You have strong communication skills, are customer-focused, and know how to maintain relationships in a professional manner.
- You are analytical, decisive, and solution-oriented, even when situations change rapidly.
- You’re able to switch easily between different tasks and maintain a clear overview, even under time pressure.
