Shipspares Specialist
Are you the specialist who makes our air cargo shipspares fly?
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Shipspares Specialist. In this dynamic and responsible role, you will be the primary point of contact for the overall coordination of shipspares shipments. You will ensure a smooth and efficient air freight process and maintain daily contact with customers, carriers, air freight handlers, and internal colleagues. Your knowledge of air freight operations is essential: you know what documentation is required, understand the logistics chain, and ensure that every shipment is handled safely, on time, and in accordance with the proper procedures. Thanks to your communication skills, solution-oriented approach, and ability to see the big picture, you bring structure to a dynamic work environment.
What you will do
- You will manage, plan, and coordinate worldwide ship spare parts shipments and ensure a smooth logistics process.
- You will organize air freight shipments and prepare all necessary transportation and customs documentation.
- You’ll coordinate daily with carriers, customers, warehouses, and colleagues to ensure shipments run smoothly.
- You will actively track shipments, monitor their progress, and accurately process all administrative data.
- You’ll monitor deadlines, compliance requirements, and quality standards within the logistics process.
- You’ll identify bottlenecks, contribute ideas for improvements, and help make our work processes more efficient.
What to bring
- You have a vocational education (MBO) level of work and thinking.
- You must have demonstrable knowledge of or experience with air freight processes. This is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- You have strong communication skills, are motivated, and enjoy taking the initiative.
- You remain calm under pressure and know how to set priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- You interact easily with customers, suppliers, and colleagues and answer the phone with confidence.
