Who we are.
Oostvogels has been a fixture in repacking and warehousing for years. We are an all-in-one partner in Food, Feed and Pharma. Our offices are located on the strategically located Logistics Center Hazeldonk-Meer, between the world ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp.
Since 2018, we have been part of Neele-Vat, but continue to operate under our own name. Together, we offer our customers innovative solutions in the areas of digitalization, sustainability and growth.
You will become (or grow to become) ultimately responsible for the Oostvogels Belgium business unit, with a focus on safety, compliance and operational excellence.
You will manage and update permits (including environmental, Seveso/BRZO) and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
You supervise (new) construction and expansion projects, including installations for hazardous substances and silo storage.
You lead Seveso audits and external inspections and strengthen the safety culture within the organization.
You assess machines and installations, work closely with Operations and actively contribute to the strategic direction of Oostvogels Belgium.
Who are you
You have a WO work and thinking level, preferably in engineering, chemistry, (technical) business administration or safety administration.
You have experience or strong affinity with an industrial, logistics or (petro)chemical environment.
You have knowledge of or interest in Seveso/BRZO, SHEQ, permit management and process safety.
You are analytically strong, decisive and communicate convincingly at all levels.
You are in possession of your Prevention Advisor (PA) Level 2 diploma.
