Working at Neele-Vat
Welcome to day
During the Welcome to Day you will be introduced to Neele-Vat, our logistics methods and the most important safety rules in the port. You will also follow the Rotterdam Port, Safe Port training, so you will be well prepared and aware when you start work. Then we help you grow further with our onboarding, practical training and in-depth courses.
On-board training
New to logistics? No worries. At Neele-Vat, we don't throw you in the deep end right away. During our monthly On-board training, we lay the groundwork in one half-day session. You learn all about our way of working, so you can start working safely and efficiently right away.
- From fire prevention and FAFS to working safely in the Port of Rotterdam.
- The use of RF scanners, material handling, loading/unloading and goods control.
- All about Food & Feed Safety, handling hazardous materials and our rules of conduct on the floor.
Internal transport equipment training
No experience with a forklift or other material handling equipment yet? No problem. We'll train you! During a preparatory training day you will learn the safety rules and practice extensively in practice.
- Practice: Become familiar with driving and maneuvering in the warehouse.
- Exam: After training, you will take an exam for an accredited Cibot diploma.
- Result: You enter the workplace safely and confidently with your official license.
