Planner Express
Are you looking for a challenging position as a planner? You keep an overview and organize every shipment to perfection!
As an Express Planner, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately scheduling rush and express shipments.
What you will do
You will plan and coordinate express and rush shipments and maintain continuous oversight. You manage drivers, monitor shipments and intervene immediately in case of deviations. You also maintain contact with customers about delivery times and process administrative orders. Do you see opportunities for improvement? Then you actively think along to make processes smarter and more efficient.
In addition, you will be concerned with:
Managing and supervising drivers
Monitoring shipments and intervening immediately in case of deviations
What we ask of you
You have MBO+/HBO working and thinking level and preferably experience in a logistics or planning position. Affinity with the maritime sector? That's a plus!
You are a team player who works well together, but also dares to make decisions independently. Under pressure, you remain calm and set priorities effortlessly. With your good communication skills and solution-oriented attitude, you always know how to help customers and colleagues.
In addition:
Handy with computers and scheduling systems.
Excellent command of the Dutch language
Speaking English is an advantage
