Are you efficient at scheduling and want to play a crucial role in container planning? Then we have a great opportunity for you as a Container Planner! As a Container Planner, you will be responsible for the daily planning and coordination of container shipments. You ensure that all containers are picked up and delivered on time to the right locations. You have close contact with customers, carriers and internal departments to ensure that everything goes according to plan. No day is the same, and you work in a challenging environment where fast switching is essential.
What you will do
- You will become (or grow to become) ultimately responsible for the Oostvogels Belgium business unit, with a focus on safety, compliance and operational excellence.
- You will manage and update permits (including environmental, Seveso/BRZO) and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- You will supervise (new) construction and expansion projects, including hazardous materials facilities and silo storage.
- You will lead Seveso audits and external inspections and strengthen the safety culture within the organization.
- You will assess machines and installations, work closely with Operations and actively contribute to the strategic direction of Oostvogels Belgium.
Your profile
- You have MBO working and thinking level.
- You have an affinity for and preferably experience in the logistics industry.
- You are stress-resistant and can change gears quickly in a dynamic work environment.
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written.
- You have strong communication skills and work well with various stakeholders.
